A Beautiful Combing of Cultures in Northamptonshire

This beautiful and emotional wedding day had it all and was a gift for a cinematic wedding videographer: a mixture of cultures and traditions, heartfelt and emotional speeches and readings and a wonderful group of people, all taking place in one of the most picturesque parts of the UK. The couples blend of Portuguese and English customs and the coming together of two families was already a great thread for my storytelling brain but once the groom gave such a tear jerking speech full of lovely stories about his children I knew I would have my work cut out for me to contain all of this to a seven minute film.

I was really happy with this film, which I produced when my work was undergoing a transition to something more cinematic, emotive and nostalgic, because I feel like it at once feels like a crafted piece of work but also a very personal one that tells the couples story effectively. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did putting it together.
